DESCRIPTION:KBIA Annual A Day at the Beach 1k/5k\, Sunday\, July 11\, 2021\nCome run with us on a USATF certified course that begins and ends at beautiful Kennebunk Beach. The course winds through a shaded\, beachside neighborhood and finishes alongside the Atlantic. Post-race snacks and beverages are provided. The 1k begins at 8:30 AM and the 5k begins at 9:15 AM. REGISTRATION OPENS JANUARY 16\, 2021 at this link: http://www.lightboxreg.com/kbia-2021?func=&mobile=1 \nWe have implemented changes this year to provide a safe race per the State of Maine’s organized racing events guidelines.  This year’s changes include: \n\nClosure of KBIA campus\n2 waves of 75\nParticipants are asked to wait in their car until the race starts\nThe award ceremony will be live on Facebook at noon\nNo pre-registration\nSpaced out packet pick up\nFood bags to go\nNot touching water cups on the water table

SUMMARY:Seaside Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Seaside Celebration is traditionally a way of thanking our members for making our KBIA community thrive. This year is no different.  \nRest assured\, we will be taking all safety precautions for our event with individually plated appetizers for our guests. As this is an outdoor event\, masks will not be required. \nThe Seaside Celebration will be held under the tents on the KBIA lawn\, making it possible for us to continue in light rain. \nIn the spirit of maintaining our financial health this year we are asking that those who join us\, please make a donation to attend to allow this event to be cost neutral to KBIA. The suggested donation is $25/person. We can accept this in advance or on-site at the event. \nThough we are moving back toward normalcy\, there are still groups of people who cannot join us on site. Therefore\, for those members of our community who cannot join us for an onsite gathering\, we are offering our silent auction online. The auction bidding opens on Tuesday\, July 20th at 12:00 pm and will close at 3:00 pm on Saturday\, July 24th. We will announce the winners of the auction items at the event on Saturday night.
