The season of giving is upon us and on November 28th, we have the opportunity to donate towards causes, charities, and organizations that mean something to us.
What better gift to give, than the experience of KBIA? No donation is too small, and all contributions go towards your choice of scholarships, facilities, and/or the general fund.
Let’s take a closer look:
- Scholarships: For children who otherwise would not be able to attend KBIA, they are invited to learn to sail, make crafts, go island exploring, play tennis, learn to swim…among the many amazing summer activities at KBIA. And not only do they have access to classes, but they are forming friendships and making memories to last a lifetime. Each year we have traditionally offered 20 to 25 children the opportunity to experience a KBIA summer — free of charge and discreetly issued. Donating to our scholarship fund is donating an invaluable experience to a child who will forever cherish their time spent at KBIA.
- Facilities: Our unique facility is located at the base of a small peninsula known as Lord’s Point between Mother’s Beach and a sheltered cove. Keeping up with building and property repairs, updates, and improvements is a constant project aiming to make the campus safe, convenient, and enable our classes to be the most they can be.
- General: Let KBIA management and the Board of Directors decide where the funds are best allocated. This donation fund is accessed for a multitude of projects for the benefit of KBIA summer enrichment activities.
