It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you that John Stevenson, KBIA Board President from 1998 to 2000, passed away peacefully last week in Texas. The Stevenson family has strong ties to KBIA, as three additional family members served as President — his brother-in-law George Harrington, his nephew Andy Harrington, and his youngest son David Stevenson. John’s five children, 10 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews also have participated in KBIA programming over the years.
In lieu of gifts or flowers, the Stevenson family requests that donations be made to KBIA under John’s name. The best address to reach the family is at 348 N. Steele Rd, West Hartford, CT 06117.
